Dayton Metro Library will host the 2026 LGBTQIA+ Elders’ Awards on Thursday, May 14, 6-7:30 pm, in the Main Library’s Eichelberger Forum. Community members are invited to celebrate LGBTQIA+ Elders’ Day with awards that are presented to elders from the Dayton area. Hors d’oeuvres and nonalcoholic beverages will be provided. This year’s DML honorees are Richelle Frabotta, the LGBTQ+ Health Initiatives Project Manager with Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County, and Kara Brown, a faculty member and coordinator of the Secure Systems program in the CIT Department at Sinclair Community College. This event is presented in partnership with DML’s The Center for Community Impact & Innovation and PFLAG Dayton and honors the sesquicentennial of Natalie Clifford Barney.
