AACF Community Breakfast

African American Community Fund Breakfast Returns June 17, 2026 A Powerful Morning of Connection, Purpose, and Community Impact Dayton, Ohio – Community leaders, changemakers, and supporters from across the Miami Valley will gather on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM at Sinclair Community College (Building 12) for the African American Community Fund (AACF) Annual Breakfast—a signature event celebrating legacy, leadership, and the power of collective impact. This year’s theme, “The Power of Us: Reengaging for Impact,” calls on the community to come together, reinvest, and reimagine how we strengthen opportunities for African American individuals and families throughout the region. The breakfast will feature keynote speaker James Cosby, Founding Executive Director of Bottom Line Ohio, an organization dedicated to helping local students access and succeed in higher education. Cosby’s work has focused on creating pathways for under-resourced and first-generation students to achieve long-term economic mobility. This historic event also honors the enduring legacy of AACF founders John E. Moore Sr. and Lloyd E. Lewis, Jr., whose vision helped establish a fund dedicated to addressing social and economic disparities and investing in the African American community.
