There’s always something fun going on downtown! Below you’ll find a list of events scheduled for today. Use the filters at the top to find events by date, keyword, and more. You can also view the calendar by month or as a list of 20 events at a time.

Art Auction: Pearl Pre-Party
April 26 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
The Art Auction is The Co’s signature fundraiser–a lively, semi-casual event of 400 patrons and artists mingling, eating, drinking, browsing, and bidding on 100+ original works of art. The event will take place on April 26, 2024, from 6-10P in The Dayton Arcade’s magnificent Rotunda; with an exclusive Pre-party from 5:30-7P in The Co’s adjacent galleries.

S P E C T R A: The 30th Annual Art Auction
Spectra [spek-truh] (plural noun) a continuum of color formed when a beam of white light is dispersed as by passage through a prism
The Contemporary Dayton invites all to explore the color spectrum and together become a living work of art. Art, light, color, taste, and sound will merge in The Arcade’s magnificent Rotunda to spark a celebration of over 100 works of art and the talented artists of the Dayton-area community and beyond who create them—all to benefit The Co’s exhibition and education programs. The Co invites patrons to come dressed in shades of white—reflecting the traditional 30th anniversary gemstone, the pearl—and prepare to immerse themselves in a kaleidoscope of friends, merriment, and music and discover the profound beauty that arises when colors dance together.

Ticket packages range from $250 to $5,000 and include benefits such as:
- Guest Tickets to The Art Auction & The Pearl Pre-Party
- Name and Logo on Event Website and ENewsletter
- Ad in Event Program
- Reserved Live Auction Seating
Individual tickets start at $125 for General Admission to The Auction; and $100 for Co Members. The Pearl Pre-Party tickets start at $250 and include Auction entry.
