Carlene Carter has been a vibrant force in music for over four decades. The daughter of June Carter Cash and Carl Smith, and stepdaughter of Johnny Cash, she embodies the legacy of the Carter Family. Carlene began her career with The Carter Family and made her solo debut in 1978. Known for her edgy country style, she topped the charts with hits like “I Fell In Love” and “Every Little Thing.” Recently, she released Carter Girl, an album of Carter Family classics, and collaborated with John Mellencamp. Carlene was also featured in Ken Burns’ Country Music documentary series.
