Victor & Mal’s Cult Movie Night Returns for the month of October with their first ever double feature! IDLE HANDS & GINGER SNAPS – The ultimate late 90’s Halloween body horror double feature! Celebrate the season with two films set during Halloween to get you in the spirit and reminiscent the way they were meant to, in a theater and with an audience. Tickets are $13 each.
IDLE HANDS (1999) – The stoner halloween party movie, starring Seth Green, Jessica Alba, and Devon Sawa, about a boy who wakes up on Halloween with a possessed murderous hand, his zombie best friends and his neighbor crush. Gory, goofy & gloriously 90’s.
GINGER SNAPS (2000) – Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Ginger Snaps tells the tale of two outcast sisters, who spend their time staging death photos until one is bit by a werewolf. A feminist coming of age movie that combines growing up with werewolf transformations in a smart, funny, & poignant way. It had a very limited theatrical run when first released, and gained more popularity during the video rental store heyday and has since spawned a cult following and two sequels.
