The Yellow Cab Tavern is celebrating its 10th season of Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies once a month through October. This long standing community event is not only bringing back all of the food trucks and the festival environment that it’s been known for over the last decade but also reinventing itself by transforming each event into a specialty food fest to celebrate its 10th year.
“We’ve had an amazing response to our themed rallies this year,” said Event Organizer Brian Johnson, “that’s why we’re so excited for September’s Seafood Fest. We’ve lined up some truly delicious regional seafood trucks to join us and all of the trucks will be offering up seafood specials alongside their regular menus.”
The line-up for Seafood Fest includes Naughty Lobster, Cray Cray Cajun, Cousin Maine Lobster, Thai1On, The Lumpia Queen, Home Cooked Vibes, Cruisin Cuisine, The Pizza Bandit, M & S Grub Hub, Ma Dukes Street Food, BackYard Smoke and Grill, Spin City Cotton Candy, Fifty5 Rivers Cold Brew, Zs Lemonade, and more.
“This is the penultimate rally of the 2023 season,” Johnson said, “and the success of this year’s themed rallies has really energized us and continues to motivate us in building these events for the Dayton foodie community. This city has some amazing family owned trucks who focus on quality and consistency and highlighting them at our rallies is great for the Dayton food scene.”
Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies are held at The Yellow Cab Tavern, 700 E Fourth St. in Dayton. Dayton Seafood Fest 2023 will be held on Friday, September 15th from 5 to 9pm. All ages are welcome and the event is free to attend. Food trucks are subject to change.
