Dayton Metro Library is hosting a special event, Flowers & Fathers: A Candlelight Concert Honoring Our Heroes, on Saturday, December 7, from 6:30-9 pm in the Atrium of the Main Library.
This special event will honor those who defy stereotypes and embody love, courage, and commitment to their families and communities. Submissions were made by community members to nominate an individual who resides in Montgomery County, regardless of race or ethnicity, who they recognize as their father or father figure.
Flowers & Fathers will include an award ceremony to recognize those nominated individuals with a special after-hours candlelight performance by Ric Sexton & Company.
