Celebrating 20 years of Dayton Roller Derby this season! Join us at the Dayton Convention Center for our season opener doubleheader on Saturday June 27. Wear your best purple outfits and come cheer on your local Dayton Roller Derby team! Our games are family friendly and a unique way to spend at afternoon. Roller derby is an athletic pursuit of skating fast and hitting hard. Using quick thinking strategy to gain the most points to win the bout, all while avoiding time in the penalty box. 5:00 PM – Violet Femmes (Dayton) vs Louisville Roller Derby A 7:00 PM – Lavender Haze (Dayton) vs Louisville Roller Derby B Each game is two 30 minute halves with a 10 minute halftime.
