There’s always something fun going on downtown! Below you’ll find a list of events scheduled for today. Use the filters at the top to find events by date, keyword, and more. You can also view the calendar by month or as a list of 20 events at a time.

Guest Speaker, Dr. Alex Kor, will conduct two presentations on October 24th, 2025 at Sinclair’s Conference Center, Bldg. 12, Room 116.

“Mom, Dad: I Will Tell Your Story”
As the son of two Holocaust survivors (Eva and Mickey Kor) who have both passed away in the last 5 plus years, Dr. Kor will utilize their incredible stories of strength, perseverance, hope, healing and forgiveness to educate, motivate, and inform the audience about the horrific past in an effort to prevent future atrocities.

My Holocaust Legacy: A Blessing, Not A Burden
Using a PowerPoint presentation, Dr. Kor will chronicle the incredible strength, perseverance and lessons of hope, healing and forgiveness demonstrated by both of his parents. His storytelling may evoke tears, inspire, and occasionally bring laughter, reflecting his parents’ sense of humor. Dr. Kor will also engage with a Hologram of his mother at the end of the presentation.
Following the 5:30pm presentation, Dr. Kor will engage with a Hologram of his mother, conduct a Q&A session, and sign copies of his book.
Dr. Kor’s book A Blessing, Not a Burden, chronicles his parents’ lives as well as how they positively impacted him, and will be available for purchase at the 5:30 p.m. presentation.
