There’s always something fun going on downtown! Below you’ll find a list of events scheduled for today. Use the filters at the top to find events by date, keyword, and more. You can also view the calendar by month or as a list of 20 events at a time.

Dayton Metro Library will host The Changing Face of Retirement, a series presented by Age Well Dayton. This series is designed to help older adults better navigate pathways to happy and healthy aging. Donna Kastner will moderate the series, which will be held in the Main Library’s Opportunity Space. Registration will be required. Upcoming topics and dates of each session are:
Managing Housing and Transportation Needs, Thursday, April 17, 10-11:30 am: Experts will discuss steps to make aging in place more likely. They will explore questions to determine if/when downsizing is possible and examine local communities and costs.
How Mindset and Social Connection Impact Aging, Thursday, May 15, 10-11:30 am: Roundtable discussions will provide know-how and know-who as patrons connect with others who are navigating similar journeys.
