Temple Israel’s Jewish Cultural Festival, set for Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 11:00AM – 6:00PM opens the door to Judaism for all who wish to learn more about our traditions and our faith. In past years, over 2500 people have turned out to enjoy music and stories, learn about rituals, Torah, and holidays, taste brisket and falafel, play games, shop for crafts and Judaica, dance and laugh. This family-friendly and accessible event is sure to delight everyone who has ever had questions about Judaism or those that simply want to have some fun. With our friends from all faiths, we enjoy a beautiful day at Temple and learn that we have a lot in common. The Festival involves more than 150 Temple volunteers, who serve food, perform, lead tours or explain holidays, answer questions, and proudly welcome friends and newcomers to share a Jewish experience. 2026 Highlights Ask a Rabbi Curious about Jewish traditions, holidays, history, or everyday life? Throughout the festival, our rabbis will be front and center—ready to listen, talk, and explore your questions with you. No speeches, no schedules—just open, thoughtful conversation for all ages and backgrounds. In addition, knowledgeable Temple guides will be offering tours throughout the day, inviting you to explore our building, history, and community more deeply. ENTERTAINMENT: Non-stop entertainment features Jewish music, humor, dance, and stories. The outdoor stage will be live with special performances from your local and regional favorites. All music lovers will enjoy this eclectic mix. Get ready for a full day of music, dance, and fun! Our festival performers are being finalized—watch this space for the complete lineup! FOOD AND DRINKS: Exciting food and drink offerings are coming to the festival! Enjoy delicious baked goods from our Temple bakery, savory hotdogs, and a variety of food trucks—there’s something tasty for everyone! CHILDREN: Activities, interactive hands-on projects, and a petting zoo will entertain and educate children of all ages. Everyone will also get a special craft project to take home! CRAFTS: An open-air market showcases Jewish and Israeli arts and crafts, including woodworking, clothing, jewelry, ceramics, and accessories from local and regional artisans. RAFFLE: Take a chance and you could win big! Prize packages include items and gift cards from local businesses, wine, theatre tickets and more! Each ticket sold support Temple’s vital service and programs. GIVING BACK: Every year, we focus on partnering with local non-profit organizations to maximize our impact in the community.
