Grupo Fuego, formed in 1999, is a dynamic Latin music band known for their powerful sound and energetic performances. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, they have become a staple at numerous Latino and multicultural events, including La Calle Ocho Festival, Virginia Beach Latin Festival, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for Latino Heritage Day. Their music appeals to a diverse fan base, transcending age and ethnicity. Grupo Fuego has shared the stage with Latin music legends like Gilberto Santa Rosa and Tito Puente Jr. Their sophomore album, The Element, produced by Grammy winner Freddy Mendez, showcases their musical maturity and creativity, delivering a vibrant mix of melodies and rhythms that continue to captivate audiences.
Grupo Fuego, formado en 1999, es una orquesta de música latina conocida por su sonido poderoso y sus actuaciones enérgicas. Con sede en Cleveland, Ohio, el grupo está compuesto por trece músicos, principalmente de Puerto Rico, y su repertorio incluye merengue, salsa, bachata y reggaetón. Han participado en numerosos festivales latinos y multiculturales, como el Festival de la Calle Ocho, el Virginia Beach Latin Festival y el Rock and Roll Hall of Fame para el Día de la Herencia Latina. Dayton Salsa Project (DSP) is a vibrant Latin music ensemble founded in August 2018 by local musicians from Dayton, Ohio, and various Latin American countries including Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Peru. The band aims to break barriers and promote inclusion through music, showcasing how diverse cultural backgrounds can unite harmoniously. DSP has become a beloved part of Dayton’s music scene, performing at events like the Levitt Pavilion’s Eichelberger Concert Series and RiverScape MetroPark’s Summer Music Series. Their performances feature popular salsa classics from the 1970s and 80s, celebrating the rich history and diversity of Latin music.
El Dayton Salsa Project (DSP) es un vibrante conjunto de música latina fundado en agosto de 2018 por músicos locales de Dayton, Ohio, y varios países latinoamericanos, incluyendo Puerto Rico, Colombia y Perú. La banda tiene como objetivo romper barreras y promover la inclusión a través de la música, demostrando cómo diversos antecedentes culturales pueden unirse armoniosamente. DSP se ha convertido en una parte querida de la escena musical de Dayton, actuando en eventos como la Serie de Conciertos Eichelberger en el Levitt Pavilion y la Serie de Música de Verano en RiverScape MetroPark.
