Dayton Metro Library will host a special screening of the award-winning documentary Major! on Thursday, June 18, 5:30-7:30 pm, in the Main Library’s Community Room A.
Following the screening, local transgender advocates will share their stories in a moderated discussion led by Lee Wade, host of WYSO’s Translucent.
Major! follows the story of trans trailblazer Miss Major Griffin-Gracy and is presented in partnership with WYSO and The Center for Community Impact & Innovation at DML. This program is also part of DML’s Rainbow Reels series and honors Natalie Clifford Barney’s sesquicentennial.
