As Montgomery County and surrounding areas prepare for the Great American Eclipse to take place on Monday, April 8, Dayton Metro Library has several eclipse programs scheduled for this unique total eclipse event.

Many other Branches are hosting viewing parties and craft activities in preparation for April 8 as well. A limited supply of glasses will be available, and some programs will teach patrons how to make their own viewing devices.
