Dayton Metro Library is excited to welcome Maurice Clarett, a former NFL player and Ohio State Buckeye legend, who will lead a Student-Athlete Mental Health Symposium on Monday, November 18, from 5-8 pm, in the Main Library’s Eichelberger Forum.
Scholar athletes, educators, clinicians, and coaches from interdisciplinary backgrounds will gather to discuss mental health and the well-being of athletes in our community. Attendees will also discuss obstacles and opportunities for engaging athletes through healthcare, media, and literacy regarding these pressing topics.
This symposium is geared for both an adult and a teen audience. Registration is required. For more information about this event and Clarett, and to register, visit DaytonMetroLibrary.org or call the Library’s Ask Me Line at 937.463.2665.
