Stuffed Animal Checkup

Dayton Metro Library is excited to introduce a new storytime series, Stuffed Animal Checkup, taking place at various Branch locations through December. This engaging and educational program is designed to help young children and their caregivers become more comfortable with the idea of visiting the doctor. Children in PreK through Kindergarten are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to the Library to hear a story about going to the doctor. After the story, kids will guide their stuffed friends through a series of fun and interactive “checkup” stations—checking eyes, ears, weight, and even giving a pretend shot.
