Why Attend The Black Midwest Symposium?
The Third Biennial Black Midwest Symposium, Adaptive Reuse: Reimagining Black Futures in the Midwest, will take place October 18-19, 2024 at the Dayton Metro Library, Main Branch, in Downtown Dayton, Ohio.
This year’s theme, “Adaptive Reuse,” is more than a concept—it’s a call to action for Black communities and allies across the Midwest. Together, we’ll delve into strategies for reimagining the spaces around us, transforming neglected landscapes into thriving hubs of culture, sustainability, and innovation. See you in Dayton!
