The Economic Impact of Arts & Culture in the Dayton Region

Join Culture Works as they host Randy Cohen, Vice President of Research for Americans for the Arts, in the Arcade Tank to share results of the Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 Study for the Dayton Region. This study is a comprehensive economic impact study of the nonprofit arts and culture industry. Cohen will share local results from surveys conducted by Culture Works and compare them with the national data, supporting the concept that arts and cultural organizations are businesses. These businesses employ people locally, purchase supplies and services, and produce authentic cultural experiences that are magnets for visitors, tourists, and new residents.

Culture Works is the United Arts Fund and Local Arts Agency serving Dayton, Montgomery County, and the surrounding region.
