Turkish Earthquake Victim Dinner

Join us and our neighbors in raising funds for those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria!
All proceeds from this community dining event on Sunday, February 26 at 5pm will be donated to the Aniska Turkish Community Center for those affected by the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
The dinner will be prepared by Turkish mothers and grandmothers living in our community
All proceeds from this dinner will support the volunteer community kitchen in Iskanderun, Hatay, a Turkish town that has been severely impacted by recent devastating earthquakes. As of today, the kitchen feeds 500 people three meals each day. According to Islom Shakhbandarov, the founder of Ahiska Center in Dayton, it costs approximately $5 to feed one person daily.
The Aniska Turkish Community Center hopes to raise enough supplies to increase their capacity to 2,000 people a day.
