A partnership between Cincinnati Bell and the Oregon District Business Association will be turning the area around Fifth Street into a Smart City by later this spring. The Smart City solutions include fiber installation, which will anchor free public WiFi extending across Fifth Street from Wayne Avenue and Patterson Boulevard and power new security cameras in the district. As part of the technology, the Oregon District will have access to analytics and engagement software supporting the businesses in the district.
