The newest location of the Columbus-based Tex-Mex chain is now open in the first floor of the Centerfield Flats apartment building at 503 E. First Street. The downtown Dayton eatery, which includes a large patio overlooking Fifth Third Field for warmer-weather dining, is the first for the restaurant outside of the Columbus area. Local Cantina Water Street is currently operating on “soft opening hours” and plans to serve full lunch and dinnertime hours starting after the New Year. Local Cantina serves several Tex-Mex options, including tacos, fajitas, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and more and has a full liquor license and bar that pours craft beers and spirits.
