After months of fundraising and planning, a new mural in the Oregon District is complete and its designers said it is intended to be a piece of healing art for the Dayton community. Daytonian Zack Sliver and artists Atalie Gagnet and Tiffany Clark were behind the new public art display, hanging the lyric “Bring some lovin’ here today” from the Marvin Gaye song “What’s Goin’ On” above the patio of Blind Bob’s Bar, 430 E. Fifth St. Organizers call the work of art “a hug” for the community after the tragedy in the Oregon District that happened last year.
