Crafted & Cured, a downtown Dayton beer, wine and charcuterie bar, has announced it will move from its current Wayne Avenue location into the Dayton Arcade at Ludlow Place, at 45 W. Fourth Street, in early 2021. The 10-year lease for a new 4,800-square-foot space has been signed, and demolition has started to redevelop the historic space into the vision of the business, co-owners Christian Alvarez and Andy Routson said in a release. The business co-owners said their new home has inspired them. “We believe the Dayton Arcade represents a celebration of entrepreneurship and artisanal food and beverage purveyors throughout Dayton’s history,” Routson said. Construction on the new space is underway, with an expected opening sometime in the beginning of the new year.

Grist Provisions, owned by chef Casey Van Voorhis and her husband Patrick, is moving from Wayne Avenue and will reopen soon at a 1,600-square-foot storefront at 46 W. Fifth St. in downtown Dayton. Grist offers pop-up dinners and take-home fine-dining caliber breads, pastas and other specialty items. An opening date has not been announced, as owners said they are currently in the process of renovating the future space.
