The Windsor Companies, developer of the Fire Blocks project, recently announced plans for another structure downtown. The 22-story Grant-Deneau Tower at 40 W. Fourth St. is slated to be transformed into a $30 million mixed-use redevelopment project that includes a hotel, luxury apartments, and office space. The midcentury modern property was named to the National Register of Historic Places, giving Windsor access to an attractive capital stack that includes historic tax credits, property tax abatements, and potentially access to utilize the new Opportunity Zones.
