Davia Allen has been running her ladies’ fashion boutique, Vidia’s Closet, online since 2018, and will open a 655-square-foot brick-and-mortar storefront in Merchants Row at the St. Clair Lofts, at 27 S. St. Clair St., later this summer. “Vidia’s Closet is all about making women feel good on the inside and outside,” Allen said, adding that her clothing selections include style options from petite to curvy. Allen travels the country and brings back fashion inspiration to the Dayton region, she said. She chose to open up Vidia’s Closet in downtown Dayton because of the centralized location for her current customers and the potential to reach new customers in a bustling downtown filled with other small-businesses and local shops. Work to ready the boutique is underway, and a grand opening is being planned for Saturday, Sept. 12, Allen said.
