Mike ColvinFast Facts

Restaurant owners Steve Crandall and Eunice Kim will open the newest location of Flyboys Deli at 219 N. Patterson Boulevard in downtown Dayton this Saturday, June 26. The downtown location of Flyboys will feature a menu of appetizers, sandwiches, pizzas, wraps, hot paninis, soup, and salads made from fresh, quality ingredients, Crandall said, and some items will be named to celebrate Dayton accomplishments and inventions. “We wanted to take advantage of the excitement that’s going on in this entertainment district and the growth of residential units around the ballpark,” Crandall said, adding that he and his wife, Euince, have had their eye on a downtown location for several years. The new restaurant will be able to seat 160 people, and will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant hours will be 7:30 a.m to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays; and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays. It will be closed most Sundays, except during Dayton Dragons home games.
