Local Hair Stylists Team Up for New Downtown Salon

A local hair salon will reopen early next month under new ownership and with a new name. Onyx & Ash Salon is located at 45 S. St. Clair St. at the St. Clair Lofts. Local stylists Kelby Coil and Erin Livingston are taking over ownership of the space that was formerly home to La’Ren 143. Onyx & Ash will house six hair stylist stations as well as three private rooms for other service providers such as lash technicians or massage therapists. The salon will employ six stylists and three service providers upon opening, but the owners hope to add more employees as the business grows.
