More details have been released about two upcoming projects planned for the Dayton Arcade.
Construction on Est! Est!! Est!!! is expected to begin in the next few weeks inside the Arcade’s Commercial and Fourth Street Buildings at 45 W. Fourth Street. Est! Est!! Est!!! will be an authentic Italian restaurant with plans for a menu featuring several appetizers, brick oven pizza, handmade pasta, gelato, and other authentic Italian dishes. The menu will also feature Italian cocktails and an extensive wine selection. Est! Est!! Est!!! is expected to open in the coming spring.
Ghostlight Coffee’s third location, Gather by Ghostlight, is also expecting a 2023 opening in the Arcade. The new location will include a gallery that doubles as an event or live-entertainment space. Shane Anderson, founder and owner of Ghostlight Coffee, says the pandemic inspired him to open a space dedicated to the beauty of small in-person gatherings, and that he’s excited to be part of something that means so much to Dayton. “The Arcade is the central heartbeat of the city,” Anderson told the Dayton Business Journal. “It’s so great to be in the Arcade, just the history, the love, the pride that the city has for it.”
