A new business is coming to the Fire Blocks District. Joui is expected to start construction next month and open this summer at 117 E. Third St. Owner, Lauren Gay, says Joui will feature an outdoor patio, full bar, small bites, and a large selection of wine for retail sale or enjoying in the shop. Joui has signed with two downtown firms to help bring the space to life; The Idea Collective is the team behind the space design and MODA4 will work on the architecture. An opening date has not yet been set, but Gay hopes for the space to be ready by June. Updates will be posted on Joui’s Instagram account.
