Tell us a bit about yourself and your business.

We’re a family owned business since 1984. We are 100 percent a commercial paint company and our primary clients are Premier Health, Kettering Health and Sinclair Community College and University of Dayton. We are currently working on Welcome Stadium and River Commons, a Miami Valley Housing Authority project. We just finished Miami Valley Hospital, Soin Medical, Kettering Medical Center.  We will start working on the Dayton Convention Center next few months.

What made you decide to open your own small business and how long have you been in operation?

We have been in operation for 38 years.  I’ve  always had a passion for painting and knew that it could become a family business. Our adult children still work for the business. We’ve built a business off of honest communication and keeping our commitments.

What do you enjoy about working in downtown Dayton?

The energy! We always wanted to support the downtown movement and wanted to be right in the heart of downtown and support other downtown businesses.

Tell us something about your business that may surprise people to learn.

It might surprise people to learn we give out a scholarship each year to a deserving student and host a back to school party for 200 participants. We make it a priority to give back to deserving people within the community.

How is your business coping with the pandemic and how can people support you now?

Our business has been coping with the pandemic through the grant program shared with us by the Downtown Dayton Partnership. The pandemic relief money has also been helpful during this time.
