Tell us a bit about yourself and your business.
We are a kid friendly gastropub with a fun twist on dinner- you can dine with the trolls! Located in the historic Wheelhouse building on Wayne Ave., our building has plenty of charm to go with great food, 32 rotating taps, over 200 bourbons and some great people as well. We do trivia on Wednesdays, and feature a weekly WTF happy hour from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!
What made you decide to open downtown and how long have you been in operation?
Our 3rd anniversary is quickly approaching on St Paddy’s Day (With a party to celebrate) and we’ve loved every minute of it! We opened because of our passion for great food, fun service and everything else that specifically Dayton has to offer from the Oregon District & our amazingly diverse culinary scene.
What do you enjoy about working in downtown Dayton?
The people! Every day we meet new people and see familiar faces – we are truly a family here that provides endless support to each other.

How is your business coping with the pandemic and how can people support you now?
It’s been difficult but we’ve been blessed between our space being easily adapted to low capacity and our amazing guests continuing to support us. Our industry has gone through countless changes in the last year but we’ve all proven how adaptable and resilient we are. To support us, come see us in a safe, socially distanced way! If you aren’t comfortable eating in, we made our entire menu available to-go with your safety in mind!
We are planning a safe, socially distanced St. Paddy’s day/3rd anniversary celebration to bring a little bit of normalcy back to the Oregon District after a long year!
