Columbus-based Mikey’s Late Night Slice is opening its first Dayton location this week. A ribbon-cutting and grand opening for the restaurant, located at 503 E. First St. in the Water Street District, is planned for this Friday, January 30. Grand opening festivities start at 4 p.m. Friday, but pizza partiers are encouraged to get there early. The first 100 people in line will receive a complimentary slice of pizza and a t-shirt to commemorate the occasion.
“We are beyond excited to throw open the doors to welcome Dayton in for a Grand Opening Pizza Party unlike any they’ve experienced before,” founder Mikey Sorboro said in a press release. “Getting to share the space with the community has been well worth the wait, and we are ready to show it off while celebrating the night away.”
Once open, Mikey’s Late Night Slice will be open 3 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 3 p.m.-3 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Lunch hours are expected to start in mid-February.
