The NATO Parliamentary Assembly‘s spring session will take place at sites in Downtown Dayton May 22-26, 2025. The City of Dayton, Downtown Dayton Partnership, Dayton Live, and several other community organizations are starting work now to beautify, enhance, and showcase the community ahead of the event that will shine a global spotlight on Dayton. The Downtown Dayton Partnership will be coordinating events and highlighting the community through a Special Projects Committee.

“As far as NATO goes, we’re looking at what are those special projects here in downtown Dayton that we can do that will positively impact both the visitor and the community as a way to leverage this event and tell a great story about our community and Dayton as a whole,” DDP President Katie Meyer said.

The City of Dayton has allocated $1.5 million to downtown improvements such as streetscaping, beautification, and more. Additional plans are detailed in a recent article from the Dayton Business Journal.
