June 23, 2025 (DAYTON, Ohio) – Make a splash and support local this summer with Downtown Dollars! Bonus Buy cards are available with the purchase of Downtown Dollars cards starting today, Monday, June 23. While supplies last, purchasers of Downtown Dollars will receive an additional Bonus Buy card worth 50% of the original purchase. That’s more money going to support your favorite Downtown Dayton businesses. Past Downtown Dollars Bonus Buys have sold out quickly, so potential buyers are encouraged to act fast!
New for this sale, Downtown Dollars fans can receive a Bonus Buy in one of three ways: Get a $25 Bonus Buy when you purchase $50 Downtown Dollars, receive a $50 Bonus Buy upon purchasing $100 Downtown Dollars, or get a $100 Bonus Buy with a purchase of $200 Downtown Dollars. Each customer can receive a maximum of one Bonus Buy card. Downtown Dollars Bonus Buy funds will be delivered to the purchaser in gift vouchers separate from their original purchase. The Downtown Dollars e-gift card purchased by the customer does not expire, but Bonus Buy cards will expire if not used by Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Downtown Dollars is one e-gift card that is delivered by email and redeemable at more than 70 businesses in Downtown Dayton. A variety of downtown restaurants, pubs, retailers, and service providers are part of the Downtown Dollars network, so this convenient e-gift card comes in handy no matter your summer plans! Bonus Buys like this one only happen a few times each year, but Downtown Dollars are available for purchase year-round. This summer’s Bonus Buy comes just in time for the launch of the 2025 Downtown Dayton Summer Passport. Now through September 12, guests can pick up a free passport to play while supporting downtown’s small restaurants, retailers, and more. Upon getting 16 unique stamps from Downtown Dayton businesses, passports can be turned in at a participating drop-off location in exchange for a Downtown Dayton prize pack worth at least $25 and entry into a drawing for even more prizes from downtown businesses.
