One of downtown’s favorite restaurants is putting the finishing touches on an expansion project. Tony & Pete’s at 129 E. Third Street in the Fire Blocks District has been hard at work in the storefront next door at 133 E. Third Street. The space will soon host the restaurant’s prep kitchen and headquarters in order to shift production out of the main location. Co-owner Justin Simmons tells the Dayton Daily News that moving certain operations to the neighboring storefront will provide more space for customers in the main restaurant and position Tony & Pete’s for future growth. Tony & Pete’s is serving up sandwiches and good vibes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.
