Traffic Upgrades Announced for Ludlow Street

Mike ColvinFast Facts

The City of Dayton and the Ohio Department of Transportation have announced upcoming changes to a portion of Ludlow Street. Work is expected to begin in the summer of 2024 to resurface the road from Monument Avenue to Washington Street. During the 2-month construction project, crews are also expected to remove one traffic lane and add a buffered bike lane. The City says the current pavement in that location has reached the end of its useful life and the area is in need of bike facilities. The work is expected to improve traffic flow for all users. More information about the project can be found here.

RTA will remain in service during construction, but riders may experience temporary stop closures and relocations for safety reasons. Advance notice will be provided.
