A local bakery is ready to open the doors of its new downtown location. Val’s Bakery is holding its grand opening at 25 S. St. Clair St. starting at 9 a.m. this Saturday, January 13. The owner of Val’s Bakery, Paige Woodie, tells Dayton.com that the new downtown space will allow for more customer seating and has a larger kitchen which will allow the bakery to serve more advanced pastries. In addition to baked goods like croissants, danishes, quiche, and bread, Val’s Bakery will also serve several varieties of coffee and matcha.
