The Square Is Where, features free live entertainment and much more, weekdays on Courthouse Square during the summer. Offerings include bands, live trivia, arts groups, food vendors, and cornhole and other games. Be sure to follow The Square Is Where on Facebook to get updates on upcoming entertainment and more. You can also request to receive regular emails about what’s planned for the Square each week.

Walk over to RiverScape MetroPark to check out Music @ Lunch. The RiverScape Café, located near the pavilion, is also open 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Once you're done eating, finish up that lunch meeting with a walk on one of the nearby riverfront trails.

Ditch zoom socials and spend a real happy hour with your coworkers at Out on 5th. Each Friday Fifth St. in the Oregon District closes to vehicular traffic and becomes a pedestrian promenade through the weekend. Retail vendors spill onto sidewalks and tables are added to expand outdoor seating.

Looking to get out of the office, get some exercise, and maybe meet new people on your lunch break? Join us select Wednesdays this summer for Downtown Walking Wednesdays! These fun walks feature a different downtown route each date, taking you past a variety of landmarks and parts of our city while connecting you to other downtown workers who like to walk.

Walks can be self-guided, so you can start at any time, but if you'd like to walk with a group, plan to depart from Courthouse Square at 12:10 p.m. All walking routes are loops, and short enough to complete in 30-45 minutes, so you can easily fit in a walk during your lunch hour.
