Defense Firm to Establish Headquarters Downtown

Local defense firm Infinity Labs plans to bring its corporate headquarters and a research and development facility to Fourth Street downtown. The firm will work from the Kuhns building in the Dayton Arcade until renovations are finished at the Fourth Street facility. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority has awarded the firm with a 2% Job Creation Tax Credit to help the project move forward. That credit would require the company to maintain operations at the downtown location for at least 12 years. “There is an energy going on in downtown Dayton that cannot be replicated anywhere else,” said Infinity Labs Chief Strategy Officer, Jason Monlar. “The civic and business communities are actively working together to build, renovate, and align present day with the city’s innovative and entrepreneurial roots.” Infinity Labs was founded less than two years ago and currently employs 50 people. The company is expecting to more than triple its number of employees over the next three years.
