A delicious downtown tradition has returned for the summer season. Lunch, snacks, drinks, and more are now available at the RiverScape Cafe. The cafe is open 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and will be open during special events happening at RiverScape. Both the cafe and Fountain Snack Bar are available to guests of RiverScape MetroPark, located at 237 E. Monument Avenue.
For the first time ever, RiverScape also plans to sell alcohol to guests. The state recently issued RiverScape a temporary alcohol permit in effect during its Summer Music Series season, June 15-August 24. Officials say they plan to sell pre-packaged cans and bottles from the park’s rental office area.
