Following closely on the heels of its recent $45 million complete renovation project, the Dayton Convention Center has now opened its latest addition. Elevate Cafe & Bar is open on the Convention Center’s first floor, with entrances from both inside the Center and outside on Fifth Street, plus a covered outdoor patio.
A cafe by day and bar by night, Elevate looks to provide “a clean, contemporary, and welcoming experience that prioritizes quality, efficiency, and flexibility.” Menu items include coffee and espresso drinks, teas, breakfast bagels and sandwiches, bakery and grab-n-go items, lunch salads and sandwiches, soups, sweets, and such bar options as beer, wine, and liquor. According to the Dayton Business Journal, the cafe is operated by the ASM Global team and creates five new jobs. Elevate plans to be open Tuesday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with hours subject to change based on the Convention Center’s schedule.
