The movement to bring new life to Courthouse Square is getting a helping hand. The Downtown Dayton Partnership has been awarded a Community Placemaking Grant from Project for Public Spaces to be used on the Courthouse Square Revitalization project. The grant will provide $75,000 in funding for the project as well as additional support and guidance from placemaking experts. Plans have not yet been finalized for the future of Courthouse Square, but project leaders will receive guidance and technical insight from placemaking experts to help determine the best future for the space. Several rounds of engagement and outreach also will be conducted to help accommodate wants and needs of community members.
