A popular local chef is ready to officially open his new downtown restaurant. CULTURE by Chef Dane will hold its grand opening at 416 E. Fifth St. this week. The owner of CULTURE, Chef Dane Shipp, has been holding pop-ups at the restaurant’s patio this summer and at various downtown businesses for the last several years. CULTURE will feature a full menu of “elevated street food with a global influence” created by Shipp. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, with grand opening activities planned until 10 p.m. Once open, CULTURE’s hours will be 4-10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
