Downtown Kitchen Incubator Now Accepting Members

Mike Colvin Fast Facts

The 6888 Kitchen Incubator is making its next step toward opening day. The project has opened applications for its first official members. Construction began on the space, located at 32 S. Ludlow St. in the Dayton Arcade, late last year to transform it into a commercial kitchen and business incubator. The 6888 Kitchen Incubator is expected to open in early 2024.

Local food and beverage entrepreneurs Charlynda Scales, Dabriah Rice, and Jamaica White are the minds behind the new project designed to help fellow food and beverage vendors strengthen their own businesses. The new space inside the Dayton Arcade will include a classroom, an event space, and a kitchen and bakery intended for training and use by members. Four rentable spaces will be available for vendors to sell their goods on-site.
