APG Office Furnishings is preparing for its move to a 3,800-square-foot space on the first floor of the CareSource Building at 220 E. Monument. The firm, currently located in the Cannery at 14 Wayne Avenue, plans to move in September. According to the Dayton Business Journal, APG is moving to find a fresh start in a different office. Leaders of the business say staying downtown was important when the firm began planning its move.

“We like being part of revitalization districts in those kinds of areas to support the city center and downtown,” said Jeff Schultz, senior vice president of sales. “Our ownership likes to create a good culture for us and it (being downtown) helps with drawing clients from all over the community.”

APG Office Furnishings says the new location will feature new designs, furniture, and collaborative areas for the firm’s 12 employees. Renovation work on the new space is expected to begin in mid-June or early July.
