The community is invited to take in the new murals, sculptures, ArtWraps, and more recently added to Downtown Dayton during the Local Love: Art Stroll & Business Blitz on Saturday, May 31. All are invited to take a closer look at all of the new art and improvements made in preparation for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords. Guests are strongly encouraged to support Downtown Dayton’s businesses while exploring by buying a meal, getting a DORA drink to-go, and shopping downtown’s unique retail options.

New permanent artwork to explore includes the Dayton Peace Sign (designed by Real Art) in its permanent home at the Schuster Center; a mural at Courthouse Square designed and painted by local artists Atalie Gagnet, Sierra Leone, & Jenny Ustick; and eight new ArtWraps designed by Dayton Public School students. For a limited time, guests can also discover Sidewalk Studio window clings and 3D installations created by local artists and now on display along and around N. Main Street. Several artists will be present from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, to meet with the public and speak about their work.
