First Friday is a free art hop featuring exhibit openings at downtown galleries, along with a variety of entertainment options, arts demonstrations, live music and more.

The ARTery at Front Street, 1001 E. Second St.: Hosting the ARTerty’s annual Holiday Gala, with music from Scott Lindberg, delicious treats, a new small works show, holiday gift shopping, and more, from 5 to 9 p.m.
The Contemporary Dayton, 25 W.
