Sweet treats and good reads can soon be found in one place downtown. I Heart Ice Cream has announced it will open inside bookstore, Rabbit Hole Books. The pair will share the space at 23-29 W. First Street and plan to hold an official grand opening celebration at 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 2. The Thai-inspired sweets business launched in 2021 with its mobile cart and has since added a location inside of 2nd Street Market. Neighboring Rabbit Hole Books held its soft opening in late 2022 and offers thousands of books for all ages at just $1 each. I Heart Ice Cream will expand its menu at the new location to include coffee and tea in addition to rolled ice cream, milkshakes, and bubble waffles. Rabbit Hole Books and I Heart Ice Cream both plan to be open noon to 7 p.m. daily.
