Downtown coffee spot, Third Perk Coffeehouse, has a cool new addition to its menu to become “The Sweetest Corner.” Owner Juanita Darden says the coffeehouse is now offering ice cream to its downtown guests. The new ice cream menu offers ice cream in cones, cups, floats, and sundaes with several add-ons to choose from. To celebrate the new menu launch, Third Perk is hosting an ice cream social on September 14. Ice cream isn’t the only new thing on the menu; Third Perk is also serving luxury loose-leaf tea, La Rue 1680. Tea is available to order in the caf� or guests can purchase a bag to enjoy at home.
